Privacy Policy
What we collect
When you use Wren, we collect information you provide during account setup: your phone number (for authentication), your child's first name, date of birth, sex, weight, and diaper size. Optionally: pediatrician name and phone, daycare enrollment status, and ZIP code.
As you use Wren, we collect interaction data: feeding and sleep events you confirm, questions you ask in Q&A, alert responses, and growth measurements you log or capture via photo.
How we use it
Your data personalizes Wren's alerts and AI-powered Q&A responses to your child's specific age, weight, and developmental stage. We use aggregated, de-identified data to improve alert timing and recommendation accuracy. We do not use your data to train third-party AI models.
What we don't do
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data or your child's data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. We do not display ads. We do not share your data with data brokers.
SMS and phone number
If you choose to verify your account via SMS, your phone number is used solely to deliver a one-time verification code. Providing your phone number is optional — email verification is also available. We use Twilio as our SMS delivery provider. Your phone number is transmitted to Twilio for the purpose of delivering your verification code and is subject to Twilio's Privacy Policy. We do not send marketing messages, promotional texts, or any SMS beyond authentication codes. You may opt out by replying STOP or switching to email verification.
Photo processing
If you photograph a pediatrician visit summary, the image is processed by an AI service (Anthropic's Claude API) to extract health data (weight, height, vaccination records). The original image is processed in memory and is not permanently stored. Only the extracted structured data is saved to your child's profile.
Data storage and security
Your data is stored in a cloud database hosted by Supabase (AWS infrastructure, US region). Access is controlled by row-level security policies tied to your authenticated account. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
Data deletion
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing tjin@orbalabs.ai. We will delete your data within 30 days of your request. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Children's privacy
Wren stores information about children provided by their parent or legal guardian. Wren is not directed at children — it is a tool for parents. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Wren evolves. Material changes will be communicated via the app or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
